Lynn Community Health Center is proud to be a part of the city-wide Lynn Food and Fitness Alliance.  The goal of this collaborative is to promote healthy eating and active living by changing the environment in which we live, work, and play.  Below is the December issue of “Healthy Happenings.”

Join the Baby Café at the Lynn Community Health Center on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10:30- 12. FREE breastfeeding support and assistance.


Want your child to get more exercise?

Most of the elementary and middle schools in Lynn have signed up for Safe Routes to Schools, which encourages children who live within a mile of their school to walk.  Safe Routes to Schools helps interested schools to make the environment around schools safer for our children to walk and bike. Have a middle- or high-school aged student interested in healthy eating?

The Lynn Youth Alliance is working with corner stores near the middle and high schools in Lynn to increase the number of healthy foods offered at the stores.  Youth will gain experience with marketing, public speaking, and much more! Interested in getting involved? Email us at
