Open Enrollment for MA Health Insurance!

Open Enrollment for health insurance through the Massachusetts Health Connector began on November 1, 2015 and runs through January 31, 2016.

During Open Enrollment:

Individuals and families can apply for health insurance coverage without needing a qualifying triggering event. Current Health Connector members can update their information, review and compare plan options (including possible premium and benefit changes) and decide if they want to change plans for 2016.  If no action is taken, members will be renewed into their current plan, if it still...

Weekly Walkers Celebrate Milestone

Members of the Lynn Community Health Center Walking Group gathered at the health center on Tuesday to celebrate a milestone in their lives: graduating from a year-long program aimed at promoting mental, physical health and wellness.

Nearly 50 strong in attendance, the program had a total of 120 participants over the course of the year. Health Center Employees at North Shore Navigators Game

On Friday, June 12, LCHC celebrated Employee Appreciation Night at the Lynn Navigators baseball game.  Executive Director Lori Berry threw the first pitch that started a terrific ball game in which the Navigators beat the Bristol Blues 5-3! It was a fun night for employees and their families!

Partners HealthCare Employees donate "Baby Baskets" to LCHC new moms

Employees at Partners Healthcare, including North Shore Medical Center, have spent the past several weeks collecting baby items for their annual “Baby Basket” drive for needy families at area community health centers.  Ten new mothers at Lynn Community Health Center each received a basket that included a variety of items including diapers, wipes, clothing, bottles, toys, and more. Bill Mantzoukas, LCHC Co-Founder, Honored by Mass League

Bill Mantzoukas, co-founder of Lynn Community Health Center, was awarded the Joseph M. Smith Consumer Award by the Massachusetts League of Community Health Centers on June 5, 2015.  This award is presented annualy to an individual who exemplifies a high level of interest in, dedication to, and support of the delivery of primary health care services in the communities in which these services are provided.
