Open enrollment period for the Massachusetts Health Connector begins on November 1, 2017 and runs through January 23, 2018.

Health Center Announces New CEO

On Monday, August 28, 2017, Board President Reverend Jane Gould announced that the Board of Directors has selected Lynn Community Health Center Chief Medical Officer Kiame Mahaniah, MD, to become the health center’s next Chief Executive Officer.  He will assume the new position on October 2, 2017.

Ford School "Art for Character" group unveils mural

LCHC partners with DPH in unique pilot to address latent tuberculosis

A $1.5 million Centers for Disease Control and Prevention grant will pay for a partnership between the Department of Public Health and Lynn Community Health Center to treat and prevent latent tuberculosis. The three-year pilot program will focus on creating a comprehensive strategy against latent tuberculosis infection, the DPH announced Monday. The grant is the only one awarded in the country. LCHC's Zhanna Bronshvayg, RN, March of Dimes Nurse of the Year!

Lynn Community Health Center Nurse Zhanna Bronshvayg was recognized on December 1 as the Nurse of the Year in Community Health at the annual March of Dimes Nurse of the Year Breakfast.  This award recognizes nurses who have had outstanding impacts on their communities.

Knitting group donates beautiful knitted baby items

The Chatters and Crafters knitting group from the First Lutheran Church in Lynn has been knitting baby blankets, hats, and sweaters for the health centers youngest patients for the past two years in loving memory of longtime member Eleanor Deegan.  We are so grateful for their generosity!
